Quorum Call for Florida Legislative Staff Janet Reno and Carole Browner

Two Floridians that served the Clinton Administration for long and important careers were lawyers Janet Reno and Carole Browner. Both had very significant positions--Reno heading up the Justice Department as Attorney General, and Browner heading up the Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") as Executive Director. Also both were involved with history making decisions from Clinton's Impeachment to Browner's precedent setting attacks on polluters.

As was pointed out in the article below, both (again) served as staff to the Florida House of Representatives--Reno to the House Judiciary Committee and Browner to the House Regulatory Reform Committee. I had the pleasure of knowing both ladies and working with them during my terms in the Legislature. They were among the best staff with whom I had the pleasure of working.
