Here it Comes...continued.

Post #139, Bob McKnight's Florida Commentary

In my last post, I had predicted that both Presidential campaigns would pull out last minute disclosures that could impact the final vote. I had no inside knowledge, just my memory of past critical elections over the last 50 or so years.

So, sure enough on Friday, the 23rd, with just over a week to go the Trump campaign orchestrated a White House announcement that Israel and Sudan had entered into a first peace agreement. Although the threat of Sudan may not have been on Americans' minds in Fargo, it does ring a clear bell in voter rich South Florida. The strategy was to peel off some of Biden's entrenched support among the Jewish community in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach Counties. Florida is THE KEY BATTLEGROUND STATE. My guess is it worked, but the numbers moved will not be known until election night.

What about the surprise from the Biden camp? Obviously, I do not know, but my guess is that Biden's campaign will watch a last minute "Pentagon Papers" like disclosure come from somewhere of Trump's Tax Returns. My guess is that it will show that Trump has been on a Russian payroll or loan for zillions of dollars for many years. In effect it will show that our President has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Vladimir Putin and or the Russian Mafia, and has tried everything to hide it (including lies about it) for years. Unfortunately for Trump, his son volunteered much of the disclosure years ago. The Trump reaction to the disclosure will be the final front page news before the election. It is not clear how much impact the disclosure will have on changing Trump's base vote--probably not much. But that may not be the case in the rest of the country, especially among the proud veterans.

There it is.
