Trump: America's New Enemies

For those who voted for Trump and need law enforcement, military, and disaster help in the future, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

With the Trump Administration, we now have a new list of friends and foes. The friends are easy to identify, they are anybody who admires and follows the directives of Donald Trump. Examples are Russia, Turkey, Elon Musk, Tesla, Space X, the Trump Family, January 6th Criminals, and plastic straws, among others. They are also enthusiastically supported by the current Republican Party.

Here are our new enemies, according to Trump:

• Law Enforcement (after Trump pardoned Capitol police attackers)

• Military Generals and Admirals

• Courts

• Government Inspector Generals

• Ukraine, NATO, and Democratic European Countries

• Inclusion and Diversity Advocates

• Paper Straws

• Public Libraries

• Public Education

• Criminal Justice Based on Laws

• Climate Change Advocates

• Proponents of Freedom, Opportunity, and Individual Rights

• Environmental Protections

• Integrity Goals and Standards

• Democrats

• Minorities

• Public Health Care

• Farmers

• Consumer Protection

  These are America's new enemies because of President Donald Trump. In various forms of governance, he has confirmed his disdain for these enemies and he insists all the government support him. He can do this because he was elected by a majority of the Electoral College and a small majority of the popular vote. Unlike Trump, most Americans accept the election results. In fairness, most of the list he identified in advance, which is why those who voted for him are largely responsible for this situation. With the changed landscape of social media, eliminated safeguards for traditional media, new judges, new laws on election funding without accountability, and moral decline, our electorate has lost its integrity bearings, in my opinion. Many churches have rung the clarion bell, but many more have accepted lies and hypocrisy as acceptable religious principles.

  
  

  One enemy missing from the list is Abortion Choice, even though Trump has sided with anti-abortionists recently through Executive Orders, and the bully pulpit. The reason is that prior to his first election as President in 2016, Trump had been vocal and outspoken in favor of abortion rights. He changed his position because he knew it was essential to get the Republican nomination in 2016, and he feels he cannot afford to lose that conservative base. He is expected to revert back to his original pro-choice position at some point.

  
  

  For those who voted for Trump, regardless of what you wanted, this is what you are getting. For African Americans, he is going to reverse all civil rights progress possible, and for immigrants without permits, he will return them to their home countries. He says he will not attack the Dreamers, but that does not go for their families, if without permits. In Florida with a large Venezuelan population deeply engrained in communities, large numbers of citizens are being deported. Republican members of Congress cheering on Trump, are now asking for exceptions for their Venezuelan constituents. For conservatives that are pro-police and pro-military, you are out of luck. For those concerned about stopping global warming from causing new floods, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes, you will be in our prayers and thoughts. For farmers and businesses praising Trump, tariffs and price controls will be their reward.

  
  

  Trump has been in office again for a few months.
